You will have the opportunity to hear first-hand from three exceptional female executives how to make a successful career in Austria.
The panel, chaired by Nadina Gradascevic, will not only discuss the career journeys of three inspiring role models, their successes and challenges along the way, but will also address the topic of how to reach top positions in Austria when coming from abroad, what we all can do to support and accelerate this process and will empower the audience with practical tips for mapping their own executive path.

1. Alisa Kapic, Vice President Sales North Europe and Country Director Austra at IWG
Alisa Kapic is the Vice President of Sales for Europe North at IWG (International Workplace Group). She’s been working in the serviced office real estate industry for 15 years across different geographies. Prior to that, Alisa worked for an American Telecommunications Distributor in Memphis, TN and moved to Europe as a Sales Marketing Director responsible for developing the CEE market. Alisa is a passionate athlete, devoted mother, spouse and leader. She has met all the challenges when working in new countries with people from different cultures and understands that flexibility and adaptability played key role in her success.
She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society, Phi Beta Lambda, was on Dean’s list and received Christian Brothers University Bob Stephenson’s top scholar award in 1996. She was also in the National Association of intercollegiate athletics All-American. She volunteered for different charitable organizations (International Children’s Heart Foundation and Catholic Charity Refugee Program). She was named Area Director of the year at IWG in 2009.
2. Tina Mravak Pogacic, COO UniCredit Bank Austria AG, CEO UniCredit Services GmbH
Tina Pogacic is COO of UniCredit Bank Austria and a CEO of UniCredit Services Austria with 10 years of experience in Banking majorly in IT. She started her career as IT Developer at Zagrebačka banka in 2010, where she held her first managerial positions introducing Agile to the Bank. During her time in Croatia, she was responsible for the processes lead transformation. Having brought a new way of working to Zagrebačka banka, she moved to UniCredit Bank Austria, taking over different responsibilities up to the current ones. One of her most important milestones was to enhance proximity between UniCredit Bank Austria and UniCredit Services, Banks IT provider, leading to reduced silos, improved customer experience and faster decision making processes. Besides all this, she loves to discover new places and people all around the world.
3. Karin Fuhrmann, Tax Advisor and Managing Partner at TPA Austria
Karin Fuhrmann is a tax advisor since 1993 and partner at TPA Steuerberatung GmbH in Austria since 1997. The main focus of her work is on the tax consulting service of real estate and includes all relevant tax types including VAT, real estate tax and real estate transfer tax. She is a lecturer and author of books. Furthermore, Karin Fuhrmann is a member of the Expert Committee of the Austrian Chamber of Tax Consultants and Auditors, Salon Real and immQu.

She was awarded for outstanding contribution to women’s empowerment.

At our upcoming bazaars, annual bazaar of the BWBH on October 6 and UNWG Charity bazaar in November, ALL products are made by small entrepreneurs, women and men who knitted our rich tradition into their products.

The Business Women of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Austria is proud to promote 🇧🇦 tradition and culture and especially women entrepreneurs!

Treći networking jesenji bazar

I ove godine bi bilo dobro da se odlučimo za kupovinu božićnih, novogodišnjih pa i rodjendanskih poklona od malih proizvođača, iz dućana s rukotvorinama, od nezavisnih knjižara, od prijatelja/ica koji prave unikatne stvarčice, od žena koje su krenule u samostalne vode, od ljudi u našoj okolini koji se opiru lošim stranama globalizacije.
A na predstojećim bazarima, našem 3. BWBH i UNWG Charity Bazaru u novembru svi, baš svi proizvodi su napravljeni od vrijednih ruku poduzetnica i poduzetnika, žena i muškaraca koji se bore da stari zanati žive i danas, onih kojih se osmjele da postanu samostalni te i onih koji našu tradiciju tkaju u svoje proizvode!
Jako nam je važno da ispred udruženja poslovnih žena – BWBH (Business Women of Bosnia and Herzegovina) – u Austriji promovišemo BiH  tradiciju i kulturu a posebno smo sretne kada imamo priliku promovisati žene koje to rade!
Naš bazar 6.10. je idealna prilika da se družimo. Za razliku od UNWG Charity Bazara, kada je sve kao na traci i trudimo se da prodamo što više u humanitarne svrhe, na našem bazaru provedemo sate zajedno. Sladimo se, kupujemo, družimo, čitave porodice dodju…Vidimo se.

Dan Ujedinjenih nacija za prava žena

8. Mart 2018
Danas je dan Ujedinjenih nacija za prava žena i mir u svijetu. Danas je međunarodni dan žena. Pitam se zašto u današnje vrijeme, nakon toliko godina od proglašenja ovog dana kao međunarodnog dana žena, se žene i dalje bore za ravnopravnost. Zašto na primjer u jednoj razvijenoj zemlji kao što je Austrija se pokreće Frauenvolksbegeheren. Da li je ovaj današnji 8. Mart važniji od prethodnih i početak jedne nove žene? 
Borba žena za njihova prava traje već dugo i još nije okončana. Ali ja tu borbu želim da vidim kao borbu za slobodan i osviješćen život. Želim da vidim žene svjesne svoje snage, koja je data ženskim bićima samim postankom i kroz evoluciju, i u onome što stvaraju i u ulogama koje žive. Ženska energija u nama, koja je usmjerena prema unutra, je energija koja integrira, okuplja i štiti, te uz pomoć koje živimo dobro uloge majke, prijateljice i gradimo čvrste međuljudske i emotivne odnose. Dok muška energija u nama, koja je usmjerena prema vani, nam pomaže da se doživimo u ulogama poslovne žene, lidera, pionira, odnosno da se ciljano umrežavamo. Svi mi imamo različito izražene ove energije i različito ih živimo – kroz različite uloge s kojima smo se identificirali. Ali svi mi imamo sposobnost i mogućnost da korisitmo vrlo uspješno i jednu i drugu energiju, te definišemo koje uloge su nam važne i koje želimo da živimo. 
Zbog toga bih voljela da današnje žene osvijeste za sebe šta žive i da li su to uloge koje su preuzele, koje su im nametnute ili su ih pak slobodno i svjesno same odabrale. Mislim da imamo odgovornost prema sami sebi, a još više prema našim kćerkama i sinovima da svjesno odaberemo koje uloge nas snaže i doprinose održivom rastu. Ovo je doba nove žene koje treba i novog muškarca. Dok god živimo stare uloge preobučene u novo ruho teško ćemo promijeniti svijet u kojem živimo. Preuzimanje novih uloga u kojima smo svjesni sebe, svoje snage i mogućnosti koje na stoje na raspolaganju je odgovornost koju imamo prema svijetu koji ostavljamo i u kojem želimo da naša djeca žive.
